Flooring Specifications
Because hybrid flooring is made of soft plastic or limestone, it’s very comfortable underfoot. The underlayment also slightly changes shape when you step on the flooring creating a very nice sensation. Besides, hybrid flooring is heat and water-resistant. This means that your feet warm and dry. This is particularly useful when used as an alternative of wet and rigid tiles in the kitchen.
Hybrid flooring is also compatible with the radiant underfloor heating, so if you want you can use make the benefits of both hybrid flooring and floor heating to make your home warm and cozy for all around the year.
Slip rating
Slip ratings are used to access the surface frictional characteristics in different environmental conditions. Their testing ensures that they are compliant with Australia’s building code, reducing the risk of slips and falls. All Proline Floors are compliant and in accordance with the standard AS 4586-2013 – slip ratings.
Acoustic tests
Acoustic testing is used to access the impact sound and it’s noise transmission through the floor. The testing ensures that the product is compliant with Australia’s building code, ensuring noise control in and reducing noise pollution in multi-level buildings. Proline Floors are compliant and in accordance with the standard AS/NZS ISO 140.7:2006 – impact sound insulation.
Fire rating
Fire ratings are used to access the reaction to fire and burning behaviour in different environmental conditions. The testing ensures that the product is compliant with Australia’s building code, accessing the potential fire hazard of the product in use. All Proline Floors are compliant and in accordance with the standard AS/ISO 9239.1-2003 – fire resistance.
